I am the luckiest girl in the world to be marrying my best friend.
Samantha
On your day, what was your first thought when you woke up in the morning?
Sam: That I was the luckiest girl in the world to be marrying my best friend.
Lee: Sheer excitement that this momentous day that we had been planning/ anticipating for over a year was finally here.
What did you base your choice of location on?
Sam & Lee: Convenience! We originally thought we wanted a destination wedding but in the end having in NYC where majority of our friends & family lived made the most sense – especially for planning aspects!
What wedding planning decision was the easiest one to make? What was the most difficult?
Sam & Lee: Easiest was the floral arrangements thanks to my mom!
Sam & Lee: Hardest was the band – we felt that this was one if not the most important decision.
Describe any specific family or cultural traditions that were important to you during your wedding planning.
Sam & Lee: Not necessarily a tradition but something that was important to me was that Lee & I have our solid wedding bands made of old jewelry from both our parents & grandparents. In the Jewish religion you need to be married in a solid band – so instead of purchasing a new one we took old pieces of jewelry from both sets of parents & grandparents to make our bands. I hope that this can be something that continues to be passed down from generation to generation.
What was a highlight of your wedding day?
Sam: Walking down the aisle and seeing the person who I have waited my entire life for.
Lee: Watching my wife smile and laugh as she boogied on the dance floor.
What is the most valuable thing that you have learned from each other?
Sam: That I need to be challenged in order to get out of my comfort zones. Whether it is trying new food or flying a plane I am able to do it with Lee by my side!
Lee: Open and honest communication are the keys to love, calm and understanding.
The highlight was walking down the aisle and seeing the person who I have waited my entire life for.

What do you hope your guests remember most about your wedding day?
Sam & Lee: The love & joy that was in the room along with how wild, fun and jammed the dance floor was the entire night.
Which quality do you most admire about one another?
Sam: The way he is able to make me laugh so hard no matter what the situation is
Lee: How she is ready, willing and able to stop whatever is going on in her life to help me through my tougher days.
Is there anything you would do differently?
Sam & Lee: NOT A THING! BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!
